New Class in 2015!!
Starting January 8th White River Budokan will be offering a new martial arts class to our schedule!
Sensei Robert Chernin will be teaching Aiki Jujutsu Thursday’s from 6:30-8:30pm. All experience levels are welcome, beginners and seasoned martial artist alike.
Aiki Jujutsu is a form of JuJutsu that practices fighting techniques that are in harmony with nature. It emphasizes the use of the attacker’s force and movement against himself, neutralizing attacks, immobilization’s, throwing techniques, joint manipulation, ground restraining techniques, pressure-points, atemi-waza (the art of striking vital points), Ki development, projection and utilization in self-defense as well as in daily life.
Sensei Chernin, who has been involved with martial arts for most of his life, joins the White River Budokan family after taking time to raise his own family. Sensei Chernin’s instruction can be directly linked to the highest level masters from Japan; our students and teachers alike hold him in the highest regard.
Aiki Jujutsu will be a welcome addition to our school and we all look forward to this in 2015!
